Unveiling the Past
Previously known as the Orient Hotel, this historical building was built in the 1900 and is valued as one of the earliest hotels in the Village of Victoria. It was reportedly built by carpenter Charles Roger who built several buildings in the village. The hotel was named the Orient Hotel long ago, which most likely derived from the popularity of Oriental decor in the early 1900s. Now having been remodeled in 2023, the Orient Hotel, now OH Victoria Hotel, will always be a beloved building in PEI and known by people from all over.
